What type of yarn or brand of yarn does everyone use? I’m still trying to find one that is not only super soft but can be used for multiple projects?

Really depends, tbh. I like to keep a few types at hand but if you’re a beginner medium thickness and these brands:
-Lion brand

  • Red heart
  • Caron

I use lion brand acrylic yarns a lot, and either flutterby chunky or bernat baby velvet for plush!

When I make dolls, I use Aunt Lydia’s #3 as the cotton is sturdier and less likely to fray.

Truboo for baby attire; has a nice weight to it and feels super comfortable.

Yarn | Laine Sweet snuggles for squishy plushes. It’s so soft~ :heart:

Hobby Lobby’s “I love this yarn” as my default for all the other projects. It’s gentle on my hands and doesn’t give me rope burn like the other acrylics.

TLDR; It’s all about the project you are working on.

I use “I love this yarn” and get it from hobby lobby. it is about 5 dollars a skein and is soft but a very nice kind. DEF recommend!

I use Red Heart Super Saver. It’s from Walmart. It’s what I use for pretty much everything.

  • red heart (not so much anymore)
  • mainstays
  • I love big twist (I want it to be sold again)
  • and i’ve used a bit of loops and threads and I love this yarn

I like buying from hobbii. It’s super cheap and has pretty much every yarn u could think of. The shippings also surprisingly fast cuz it comes from Denmark

For me I like yarn bee and also loops and threads although I barely have any of either of those in my stash at the moment which is really odd

Bernat blanket, some red heart is really soft idk why different colors are different, i think loops and threads from micheals is pretty good or so ive heard, i love this yarn from hobby lobby is in my opinion the softest worsted i can buy without the huuuugggeee price tag
