Hey everyone!
Ive been using ribblr for a bit but have never posted. I finally got a yarn winder, and I’ve only made a few cakes, what are you do’s and don’ts? I’ve noticed the biggest issue of my yarn winder won’t stay in the surface I have chose to put it on and it’s driving me crazy.

Did you get this from Amazon? If so I bought the same one and it is HORRIBLE, had to save up my allowance to buy a 60 dollar metal on
(The company that I got my yarn winder is called “LAMXD”)

That’s a shame it won’t stay on! I also got mine off off Amazon for cheap and I didn’t have that issue, although the first time I used it I didn’t loosen the clamp to fit my desk so I thought I bought the wrong one lol, my do’s would be to make sure you have the clamp on tight and to be careful with your tension when winding since I noticed that a tight tension made the yarn thinner (unless that’s what you want 
since I can definitely see a benefit for that as well)
