Idk, the patterns included in the files are stolen files from free patterns websites, but the cover photos for the listings are ai! (They probably did this BECAUSE it would take people longer to figure out because you have to actually buy the pattern to see if they are stolen, instead of just looking at the listing!)

unfortunately i think we can’t know if all of the patterns are stolen or if it’s a mix of stolen and AI patterns without buying it, but this person has already made over $4000 off of these pattern bundles, so they really don’t deserve any more money from anyone. i’m not sure why they decided to steal patterns from others rather than just doing AI (which is still stealing), but it’s so terrible of them to do

Plus, people who are a bigger part of the crochet community know better than to buy from ai pics on Etsy won’t buy the patterns, and therefore the people who are bigger parts of the crochet community don’t report it to their friends! Where as when an inexperienced crocheter buys it they don’t have very many connections with the crochet community and don’t realize that the files where stolen!

then maybe say smth like:

I am trying to open a case. The files are all saying they are empty now. Because the files are empty they will not open a case.

I did report them, which I think we all should do. The problem is that there are thousands of people doing this, so we just can’t stop it all. I have seen this many times before and I mostly do report it. I hope they get removed. I know that some places will just make people promise not to do it again…which is totally not ok, they need to remove that person.
