So I found a website and I’m in love, a friend of mine recently got into crochet and he’s a vegan so he refuses to use animal fibres. So to show him that you don’t need to use acrylic, which is literally plastic and sheds microplastics that end up in our drinking water, I did some searching. The website is https://www.veganyarn.co.uk/ and they have so many options for bases and they’re naturally dyed thus even more eco friendly!
The have undyed options for each of their fibres too. The fibres they sell are as follows:
- Bamboo Rayon
- Different cotton blends
- Organic cotton
- Tencel (which is made from recycled wood pulp)
I’m totally going to be buying from them in the future.
