I can’t thank you all enough for the support for my shop and patterns!! So as a little thank you to all you lovely people who have supported me, I decided to publish another free pattern with a twist + a giveaway once the celebratory pattern have been made! You will get to decided what that pattern will be from start to finish! (The giveaway rules at the end of this post)
How this pattern will be designed:
Part 1 (4-5 days): Pick an animal/creature
To start off, in a comment tell me what animal/creature you want to see me make. This can be a real life animal, an animal mash-up, or a mythical animal, anything goes! (but please refrain from copywrite material such as movie characters, book characters, etc.)
After 2-3 days of animal suggestions I will run them through a random picker to pick 4-6 of the suggestions for you all to vote on your favorite suggestion. This vote will likely be open for 2 days.
Part 2 (5-6 days): Pick a body design and some potential accessories
This will have two polls for you to vote on.
Once an animal had been decided on, I will make 4-8 design sketches for you all to vote on for 2 days.
Once a design has been chosen, you can comment some to the accessories that you would like to see with our friend! (This could be clothing, bags, toys, etc.) I will then take the most popular suggestions and make a poll, and the top 3-4 voted on accessories will be added.
Part 3 (4-5 days): I will make and write up the pattern and we will name our new friend
It will probably take me 1-3 days to actually crochet and write up the pattern.
In the meantime, you will all suggest some names in the comments. I will pick some of my favorites and make a poll for everyone to vote on!
Part 4: Testing!
Anyone who has participated in the suggestion of the animal/design/naming will automatically get be able to test the pattern if you want!
Then of course once it is properly tested the pattern will be available for free in my shop!
This top post will be updated whenever a new part/poll is made so you won’t have to search in the thread to vote! (to quickly go to the posts below, click on the down arrow to the top right of the square)

CONGRATULATIONS ON 25K!! Your patterns are just the cutest! I’ve haven’t seen any good/inexpensive cheetah, toucan, deer patterns out there. So I’m hoping you could make any one of those!
