So have you ever had a pattern tell you to work with 3 strands of yarn? Here’s how to do it without having 3 skeins of yarn

This also works if you need a bulky yarn but only have worsted :wink:

Rugs are often made using 3 strands (Ira Rott designs a lot of rugs)…
I’ve seen other times too, but honestly for me, I use it more when a pattern calls for bulky

One of the first times i crocheted i ACCIDENTALLY did this lol
I wanted to make a chunky amigurumi but i only had one yarn ball so i did this and i was like I AM THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!
