I totally agree with you! I just finished writing an argumentative essay for a school project about AI and brought up this point. I think it takes out a lot of the human touch to it all and lessens the creativity of it, I just want people to not resort immediately to AI when it comes to problems or quick money or marketing with stuff like this.

So great you do this stuff. Sadly i don’thave time to do it but i’ll report if the designer dous not react. My patterns are always tested by me, my homies(my local group) and then translated into english and here. That part takes the most of my time

i know this sounds weird but i love and hate ai the pictures patterns songs almost everything gives me the uncanivally so that and the things i like is it can easely information but i have more wrong stuff then right so i just wish it never existed i wil report all ai patterns so you always have me lir

I really apprecieate this take, its so sad to see sites like pintrest and etsy overflowing with ai “patterns” when the truth is they never work and its simply ai images created.
All the people who take the time to be on the lookout are also awesome.

Yes! It’s so upsetting that AI is taking away the creativity in the patterns and designers, not to mention how 100% of the time AI patterns suck and are just a waste of yarn and time.

oh wow! I’m so grateful for your response. I stepped away for a couple of hours and came back to read all your comments - it honestly warms my heart. This community is what makes Ribblr so special.
And I agree with so many things being said here!
As a founder of a company that builds tools with tech, I think there’s such a big difference between using tech to empower people (e.g using your phone to write here or using an ePattern to complete a pattern) and using tech to replace people and creative processes.
