so my friend has problems finding tops that fit her because of her big chest, and i want to make her something for the summer. anyone have any great ideas for classy summer tops for her?
it needs to be able to support her chest well, and look pretty! it doesn’t need to be a ribblr pattern, i’m fine with youtube tutorials too :3 just no patterns made out of multiple granny squares!

I made this for myself and my daughter. You go by your biggest measurement which in my case is my chest to determine the width of the panels.

Hmmm I don’t have any patterns to share as I don’t often make clothes but my only suggestion would be to find ones that aren’t halter tops! Bigger chests means more weight on the neck and that’s just ouch
In my humble opinion 
I haven’t made my own top yet but I definitely have a large chest. The thing I’ve noticed that helped a lot of other girls with large chests make their tops supportive is making the underboob area strong enough/ supportive enough, thicker straps, and corset style closures in the back so they can pull it until it feels tight enough to be supportive.
I’d recommend checking YouTube, Pinterest, and Raverly because top patterns are basically endless, and I dont know your friend’s style.
