How do we create a channel for adult crafters? The channel we currently have has a lot of kids under 18 in the chat. As much as I love communicating with everyone it would be nice to have an adult chat.

There is the adults space! The other option would be to make a gc, but I don’t think that’s optimal considering the 10 person limit. Maybe a PM thread? Definitely sub-optimal.

What @Axolotlllll said. The messages do disappear after some time so idk if you’d be ok with that but that’s probably the best way to gather all of the adults.

I avoid the chats here because they are a war zone. Members fighting, getting suspended, nasty gossip etc. kind of like being back in school dealing with my bullies again. So I check in on them once in awhile but don’t participate

I’ve seen threads about it, Ribblr ended up removing the threads because they were not productive conversations that really needed to be read by the whole community

I’m trying to turn the ‘All Grown Up (Adult Crafters)’ space private as some of the adults requested as younger users were messaging in it. I tried asking and setting up a group chat too but it only fit 10 people and way more than 10 people wanted to join 
The thing is that there is no way of really knowing if people are being honest about their age, so when requesting to join it would have to be on the honor system because if someone claims to be 18 or older then I would have no reason to turn them away.

18 is considered an adult so you would be allowed into the space if you are 18 or older

There has to be a way that @Ribblr @admin1 can do this. Maybe code it somehow to only allow those who are 18 and up in the channel?

Everyone who signed up on this app had to enter their DOB. That’s how.
