Hi all! I know this is a very weird request, but my mom asked me to crochet one of our family friends an adult sized diaper so he could wear it at his baby shower 
I’m not even sure if there will be anything available but I’m open to all suggestions and I’m willing to improvise or take pieces from other patterns and smoosh them together! Thank you all in advance lol

Thats hilarious! Honestly i cant think of much other than maybe modifying a bikni bottom, or maybe a pair of shorts, to match the color their going for? You could also use fluffy yarn to get more bulk.

Maybe you could crochet one panel (that gets safety pinned to wear it), roughly following something like this but with adult dimensions:
