Anyone homeschooled that played Oregon Trails?

My husband didn’t homeschool, but he talked about going to computer lab and playing that all the time. So many people around me talk about playing it too. Homeschool, public, and private schooled. I really missed out. My kids have played it and have gotten dysentery and feel like that have accomplished a life goal somehow.
