Advice and opinions needed

I was trying to make a pattern of a sailboat using the inset Mosaic crochet technique. Does this look like a sailboat? And if not how can I better it?

I know the colors don’t meet but I didn’t have blue for water.

I’m no expert in mosaic, but I personally think it looks amazing, even without the blue!

Looks fantastic. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Before I saw the text telling me it was a sail boat, I immediately knew what it was.

I personally haven’t tried mosiac yet but this looks SO GOOD. Theres something in crochet mosiac in the way it looks that makes me want to ascend for some reason

My first thought was sailboat but I could see how to also looks kinda like a bathtub. I didn’t notice the absence of blue and it could be made to look more like a sailboat if you added a few more parts to the pattern for the actual sail part.

i think it looks good! to me personally, it would look a bit more sailboat-esque (to me) if you connected the sides and finished the shape-see the image below for reference.

I understand what you are saying but inset mosaic crochet have a 2 row same colour rule so to give angled stitches are very difficult. I m trying hard to angle it

Thanks you

What if you used another color besides white for the second stripe so that part doesn’t fade into the background which is the same color?

i think its really cute, i love working with mosaic.

I personally think it would read better as a sailboat if you ran the stripes all the way to the pole tho
