Advice needed

As I said in the title, I need an advice:

I’ll probably take a new kitten in a couple of months (3) (the birth is expected in few weeks).

last year, when I get my first kitten, I give to the lady who gave her to us a crochet tote I made (it wasn’t perfect, because I took a hook in my hand only 2 months before, but she actually liked it really much

)

this time I want to make her again something (better) special, always cat themed, possibly useful.

any ideas? as I said, I have 3/4 months to work on the project :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

thank you

Edit: the lady is around 70 and not as young inside like many women of her age (still it’s like a second mom to me )

I have wanted to make this for SO long but I don’t have a stripe account. I think you can find it on Etsy or something though :)

fyi, you don’t need a stripe account to buy patterns, you only need it if you wanna sell as a designer

I love the bag, it’s amazing. Is there a pattern or tutorial for it?

thank you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I found on pinterest the scheme to follow to make the image (I think it was a cross stitch pattern) and I followed it with crochet (not sure it was a good idea :joy:, but it almost worked). then I assembled the 2 panels and I added the handles

This one is in my queue. If I ever get caught up. It could be a lap blanket if you didn’t want to go as big. Or a throw pillow or pillow cover.

lovely.

i think you can actually try to make a graph of a pic of your choice and trying with tapestry technique, if you can’t buy patterns. the subject will not be the same, but you will have a nice scarf made by yourself :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Coasters reminds me of a fun pattern that is on my to make list. It’s the butt of a cat with the tail and I want to pair it with the face with ears, as a coaster set. If you want it to be a bit more serious there are cute patterns including paws as well. I would share some, but I don’t know how. How do you share patterns?

That’s beautiful work, and very impressive! I can see why she loved it

I don’t know how big of a project you want to make, but as she’s an older lady, maybe a lap blanket or afghan would be nice. I really like this simple pawprint pattern I found on Hobbii. It could be pretty easily adapted into a scarf or shawl too if you wanted a slightly smaller project.

I’m sure whatever you make will turn out beautifully!
