For those in the uk, the aldi yarn event started today. The cashier said we were the 3rd lot already at 9.30am  its pretty much all £1.29 per 100g ball.

Your aldi doesn’t do a yarn event on the crap aisle, i mean “special deals”? We don’t usually go to aldi but in January and September i keep my eye on the deals pages.

I hope your aunt gets some nice ones for you. The colours on the website were a bit misleading and they didn’t have all the colours that were listed either. I was especially looking forward to the turquoise swirly one but it was basically green swirly rather than the nice blueish turquoise on the page.

Aww that’s annoying! She said my max is 3 or 4 so I’ll probably get white and purple (?) chenille and 2 dk yarns to crochet a bag :))

There some interesting hollow style yarns (they called it macrame yarn i think) that would be nice and lightweight for bag making). All the chinele was very very pale in colour. I really liked the light blue though. I focused more on the chunky yarns because of the impending hood and my daughter being into bigger squishies now.
