I am a bit (haha, a lot) older than most of you that want this, but I don’t like reading all caps. It kinda gives me a headache.

I agree and Im the same age as most people on here. I get excitement but its difficult to read and could be seen as excitement, anger, or really any emotion.
I much prefer tone tags or emoticons when showing emoji in public spaces like this. In private chats ill use all caps because I know everyone there is chill with it
I do admit, I use all caps occasionally, but I’m not fully on board. Because, it’s not really necessary, you could always put “(cs)” (complete sentence), and only takes a couple extra seconds.
But if a topic shows the same energy, I’m ok with showing my expression with all caps, I honestly like some contrast within a post, you could do a sentence in all caps, then do another part in lowercase/normal uppercase. To be honest, it’s kind of mixed feelings for me, I don’t really care I guess.
