hi!!
@ribblr can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEAAASEEEE add all the currencies, especially NZD because i really want to buy patterns and im not allowed and the fact that theres fees for changing currencies means no way im allowed and I REALLLLLYYY REALLLYYYY want some patterns so please consider!
what is your currency???
Nzd
what is that
New Zealand dollars
oh i live in Washington so i just have American dollar bills
oh lucky
uhhh i wanna try something new tho…
what is it?
idk just a different currency
Different currencies would be great because crocheting and knitting and stuff is making a comeback and many people around the world are picking these things up and starting to join ribblr
The currency you use is based on where you live. As I live in the United States, I have to pay for patterns in US dollars. I can’t choose another currency to pay in
Other countries have to pay in their country’s currency. Australians would have to use Australian dollars (AUD) for example.
Thanks for sharing!
We just want to say that we LOVE supporting crafters in all corners of the world. We acknowledge that right now you can choose between 5 currencies and NZD isn’t one of them which can be annoying.
Please note any currency conversion fees that may be charged are totally dependent on your card issuer which is often your bank.
For example, some banks may not charge a currency conversion fee at all, whilst other may charge a small fee. You should check with your bank, though often it’s a relatively small fee at around 2-3%. So a pattern costing $6 would end up being $6.2 for example. In this instance it may be worthwhile considering when there’s a sale!
How do you change currency? Because i have $ and was hoping i could change to €. I did not see the option int he settings but i might have missed it
If you’re on the app and you scroll all the way to the very bottom of the home/main page it’s there!! Rly tiny though, I just noticed it for the first time today
If the advice about changing currency on Ribblr doesn’t work out for you, try contacting designers directly. They may accept other forms of payment or sell on other venues.
Ok thank you!! And thanks @ribblr
