Silly to mark this as an announcement but I guess it is! Whoop!
I have so many sewing projects I need to get to. And I finally got a spot ready today. I actually sewed a little bag shut that holds a sand bag for my leg weights. So there’s something already. 
I have to hem a wedding dress for my daughter. We have it pinned. But I’m a little nervous. The fabric is polyester.
Edited to say I found an amazing YouTube video that helped me feel more confident. It showed a narrow rolled hem and was just what I needed. The channel is @sewshowwithshae. I did the 1st hem of 2, and the machine and stitches worked perfect. Part of my nervousness.
