JUST NEED SOME ADVICE, I’ve been changing the olive green to ivory but I’m not sure I’m doing it right. Can someone help me and inform me please?

You can leave the yarn to hang and carry it over, or you can cut it off each color change! It’s your choice :D
If I cut it off will it come undone? Stupid question 
Happened earlier but maybe cut and let them hang and then maybe I can weave it in the blanket?
If you ch1 before you cut and then pull the end through the loop, it won’t get undone!
