That’s kind of how mine work out. However the last blanket I did, I went off of the patterns instructions, and I literally had an extra skein of each color plus unfinished skeins. I didn’t even purposefully buy extra! It was so weird.

You get sad I have a mini heart attack ,punch the wall then wants to cutely evaporate from this world .
