I am new to amigurumi and most of the patterns call for Premier Parfait Yarn. I cannot find that yarn in my local stores. I can order it online, but wondering if anyone can suggest other yarns from Michael’s, Joann’s or Hobby Lobby?
Joann’s has big twist micro polyester yarn that looks the same as the premier but I am unsure if it can be used. Please help a newbie!
Sweet Snuggles Lite and Chenille Home Slim from Michaels are my recommendation when it comes to yarn like Premier Parfait. It’s a good deal for the amount of yarn you get.
Bernat Blanket isn’t the same but it’s also a very good yarn
I usually use “i love this yarn” or “Yarn bee” or “Bernat”.
Bernat can only be bought at Joans. At least where i live it can.
You can buy bernat pretty much anywhere here lol. Michaels, Walmart, Joanns, and other places I’m forgetting
Big Twist Posh is amazing! It also sheds a lot less easily then premier parfait chunky. It doesn’t come in as many colors but I absolutely love working with it!
