Oooh I’m in! I’ve been watching pretty much just anime like the last 2 years. I have so many favorites!! What’s everyone’s favorite comfort animes? I’ll start! Mine are fruits basket, one piece, slow loop, sasaki and miyano, kakuriyo bed and breakfast for spirits, inuyasha, kaguya sama love is war, lets make a mug too, yona of the dawn, ummmm theres like a million more but I’ll stop here​

Duuuude I think the most current season of mha was crazy good! I mean I enjoyed the previous seasons too, but that was next level. I need to teach it lol! Cardcaptor sakura looks cute, I haven’t seen that one yet

Been watching and enjoying “Reborn as a Vending Machine, Now I wander the dungeon”
Good series because despite being an 'isekai" they don’t “god-mode” the MC. He is a vending machine and has limitations and this has to think his way out of situations, dangerous or otherwise.

I definitely meant to say rewatch, not teach hahha. Sometimes my swipe to text picks crazy words and I don’t catch it.
I think I’ve rewatched fruits basket like 4 times, I seriously love it too and am working on a cat form Kyo embroidery project! Toilet bound is also amazing! I’m both excited and nervous to see what they’re going to do with the reboot.

I’ve been watching that one too! I agree, it’s nice to have an isekai character that isn’t reborn with op powers or into a noble family or something lol.

Two anime I am actually hoping for season 2 of are “Black Summoner” and Campfire cooking in another world with my unique skill" (Apparently the manga includes the RECIPES for the dishes featured in the show)

Well even with op powers, you want the character to have -some- form of limitation,
Something that limits them so the can’t just “Thanos snap” any situation.
The character is a vending machine with canned phrases, so he has to combine those phases with his various forms/features to try and get his point across because he is unable to speak to others, asside from said “canned phrases”

I’m looking forward to season 2 of faraway paladin coming this fall. I’m hoping for a second season of why raeliana ended up at the duke’s mansion and am hoping hell’s paradise gets a second season too.

Right?! He has a bit of a communication barrier, but manages to work it out. I also think it’s interesting that he can use his points to change what type of vending machine he is. It’s interesting to get an idea of what types of vending machines they have in Japan, I’m a lil jealous lol

@starlitxstitches It’s interesting to see the “Fish-out-of-water” reactions of people who have never seen things like Cola or canned soup.
Like introducing modern conveniences to what is basically a medieval fantasy setting.
Reminds me of one of my Favorite animes: “GATE” (Not Steins gate). Modern military transported to ancient Medieval kingdom.

If you want to see vending machines, look on YouTube for a channel called “Dancingbacons”
They show off things like restaurants and vending machines in Japan. Makes me want to go there just to try one. So many different vending machines.

Watched them tour a restaurant where you CATCH YOUR OWN FISH. You get a table, grab a fishing pole, then decide your dishes based on what fish you catch.
