A small girl called Alma danced across the abandoned alleyway that was snow-covered. She saw a giant chalkboard that was dressed with many names but the most popular name inside was Alma. She thought this as a tradition for girls and boys like her named Alma. She picked up a powdery chalk that was hidden under the board and scribbled on her name… Alma. Little did the oblivious girl know she signed a contract and her future was set in stone.

From the corner of her eye, Alma noticed a slight change. No, a big change. She turned around and noticed that a monster-like window held a doll inside - a lookalike doll. Alma was intrigued and tilted her head. She raised an eyebrow and wondered if it was meant for her. She looked at her clothes then looked up again to see if they wore identical clothes but was shocked to see it had vanished from thin air. Where was it? Alma panicked and scanned with trepidation. As she inspected the window display, she noticed that all around her there were posters talking about missing children. ‘MISSING: ALMA PLEASE CALL …… IF FOUND’
‘MISSING CHILD CALLED ALMA. LAST SEEN IN HER DRESS PLEASE HELP’
‘MISSING LITTLE BOY ALMA PLEASE LET US KNOW IF FOUND’

She noticed the majority of names were called Alma but didn’t feel the slightest chill and carried on looking for the doll. She ran to the door and kicked it open with a small delay. The door seemed centuries old and looked as if it were going to only last a second longer. Alma was correct and it broke, blocking her way out. She found her doll and tripped over a cycling wooden doll that kept on going although it was pure wood and had no mechanisms. She picked it up and within seconds it was cycling again but bashing on the door hoping for escape. Did she find this unusual? Not at all.
