Hi, maybe someone can help me! I’m doing a tapestry (well trying) but every time I do it somehow it ends up on one side (9 on the left and 5 on the right) I’ve watched countless videos on how to switch colors and and I make sure to count them 3 times before switching I add 1 and at the ends. This is the pattern

Maybe try keeping a stitch tracker? (counting aloud each stitch) Or whenever changing colors (if you’re tying knots) make sure they don’t take over a stitch. Like if you’re switching from white to purple, make sure you don’t accidentally skip a stitch where you might need one. So just try your best to keep count- if that makes sense. And make sure you check your tension too!
It also may have something to do with the tapestry itself- (Just a guess)

Ive done tapestry a lot and a mistake i used to make was not changeing colours in the stich before is it possible your doing this ???
