if you want a free knitting teacher Marly Bird on youtube has done some classes called bicrafty bootcamp knitting for crocheters. This might be helpful for you.

since you are a crocheter, my suggestion for knitting is to try the continental style, we hold the yarn in our left hand like crochet and we pick the yarn through the stitches on the needle similar to crochet. Most people I’ve taught to knit that also crocheted, pick this style up quickly.
