If I’m working on something that’s taking a long time and my ADHD is getting bored of it- I’ll put on a show/audio book/music while I crochet and that can really help.
Alternatively, pretending it’s for someone else can help. Or if you have a pet, explaining the process to your pet as if you’re teaching them to crochet

I do this as well but i cant put on anything too interesting. I tend to put something that ive seen a bunch of times so i don’t miss anything lol

Sometimes I set a timer for a certain amount of time, say an hour, for example, then I just crochet as much as I can in that amount of time. Music, movies, or videos also really help, but like @hannahsdreamshoppe said, it helps to watch something you’ve already seen a several times so you don’t get distracted.

I would do this so much but my phone has no storage left T^T

Have an audiobook playing and set like a 30 minute timer while you listen to the audiobook and crochet and then spend like 10 minutes doing whatever you want and then repeat

Crocheting during car rides is really nice for me. Although if you’re not a teenager like I am and have your mom drive you everywhere that probably won’t work lolll :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

I have like a comfort show that I watch (I already watched 7 billion times, it’s bunk’d for anyone wants to know) I know it inside and out so I can focus on crocheting and whenever I look up it gives me a weird comfort knowing exactly what happens next.

Try putting yourself in a room with not much in it or when you are bored  start again… even set a timer :stopwatch: until you are done… and time yourself. There is a whole lot of things you can do to stay focused :+1::+1:
