Any tips?

unlike selling online, people tend to buy smaller items in markets. you can crochet keychains or hand-sized plushies. don’t forget to keep a journal of what people buy so you can use the data later to see what is more popular. if your items are made with plush yarn, i also recommend bringing a sticky roller wheel(usually made for dust and hair) because plush yarn can get quite messy.
here are my current best sellers:

  • bees
  • octopuses / octopi
  • mushrooms
  • leggy frogs
  • turtles
  • dinos

like i said before, smaller items tend to sell better but its nice to have some larger items displayed as they attract more customers. its also a good idea to have a theme in your stand. you don’t want to be selling random items like plushies but then also sell hats. use or design a cute shop banner with your shop name as it also attracts more customers. (you can message me if you need help doing so) . make sure to have good display with buckets or maybe even a keychain rack.

its important not to overprice your items, so watch videos online on how other people price their crochet. you can also find some inspo on organizing your booth.

if you happen to have some random projects that were a little bit less quality(like a string sticking out) or not many people seem to be interested, you can have a “clearance bucket” with pretty much anything you want.

anyways, good luck on you’re market
