While our church was not named Apostolic. We were taught the same, although there are variations. We have a belief in supernatural manifestations of God’s power through spiritual gifts such as healing, prophecy, and speaking in tongues. These gifts are believed to be a sign of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power in the lives of believers. I have had many dreams and visions myself.

thats so cool!!! i was 12 years old when i received the gift of the Holy spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and i was baptized a few weeks later. ive been baptized for almost four years.

I attended an apostolic church for several years. My grandson graduated from a United Pentecostal United Church/Academy, it was wonderful experience for me and him.

ooooooo i had gone to a pentecostal church after i left my last church a few months ago. ive been to some before but i grew up in the apostolic assembly so i didnt really like it, it was very different for me.

I agree, some are downright weird. There’s a distinct difference from when the atmosphere is controlled by the Holy Spirit and when people are out of order trying to manufacture the atmosphere through their flesh.
I was born to a Catholic Italian mother, and a Greek Orthodox father. I was invited to a Pentecostal Church and then 2 weeks later decided to get sober after 12 years at the ripe age of 25. Im 33 now, some barriers prevented me from regularly attending, especially when we moved an hour away from any kind of civilization and I was struggling with four herniated discs post car accident.
Anyhoooo, I moved back closer to town and now I’ve been regularly attending again!!
