Hello Ribblr community! I am making my first ever temperature blanket this year and I was wondering if anyone else is working on one? If so what’s your blanket going to be like, what yarn are you using, are you using the high temperature or the low temp. I am using I love this yarn and I’m doing the high temperature for my blanket.
I actually want to make it but I think it takes to much time and I’m about to do it with coldest so wish me luck
No :(
I am still working on my temperature blanket from last year! Because it was my first one, we just picked colors that looked good together so they are all different brands, but I will send a picture soon! I am caught up through September!
But, anyways, now I am doing a temperature snake with the same colors from last year because I want to be able to compare them easily. I am doing the high temperature from each day. I have stayed caught up this year so far! so happy!
I will comment with a picture in a couple minutes.
It is not perfect as I learned to crochet on January 4th, 2024 and started my blanket on January 9th… so the first month or 2 is a little wavy.
Do wanna be in the gc
Sure
You’re in
I really wish I were! I thought about making a temperature snake but I really don’t have time for anything.
I’m making a temperature snake using the high temp
Gorgeous work!,
Thank you!
I did one in 2023 and it came out pretty nice, about 4 ft wide by 5 foot long. I was worried about it taking too long so I did a C2C blanket and only did 11 pixels/squares each day, so something quick and easy and manageable for me, and I used a color for the high temp of each day and this is what it ended up looking like.
i haven’t started mine yet but i’m using the highest temperature and i love this yarn, like you :DD
nice
That looks great! I’ve never done a C2C blanket before but I want to make on this year!
Good luck, I’m sure it’ll turn out awesome!
I am making a temperature blanket and I am using the average temperature of every week and making a granny square in that colour. I am using acrylic yarn that is already in my stash because I I need to use it up somehow.
Wow I’ve never heard of doing a temperature blanket by the week before, but that’s super creative and cool!
