Anyone know how to add keychain findings to your plushies?

I’ve been making keychains for my market but don’t know how to attach the finding to the plushie? If anyone could help that would be awesome! I’ve been just using ball chains and putting them through the sts but I’m running out of them and I need a better way to secure the lobster clasp to the plushie! If u have a way, lmk in the comments! Thx.

You could loop a strand of yarn (some sturdy yarn) like using the ball chain

Or you could simply crochet into the clasp during the making process (this will mean having the placement correct or you’ll have to frog your project)

I don’t usually make keychains, so this might not be helpful :sweat_smile:

I don’t use those, I use rings that I have to press together for it to stay, like the professional ones, so I wont be of any help, but I just hook them in the top of the plushie usually and clasp it togethre

Usually I just sew it on using the same color yarn as the crochet.

You can use Jump Rings, if you don’t want to use the ball chains. I would get thick ones and crochet them in as you work the plushie.
