Anyone that needle felts?

Is there any that needle felts here? I like to felt native birds, and animals. Any Tips?
Any other fiber-relating crafts other than n crochet, or knitting?
Just askin for a friend, bc I’d think it’d be fun for needle felting patterns to exist.

I have a needle felting kit, but I have never needle felted animals, but I have used it to embellish some of my amigurumis. I made spots on a fawn, spots on Ladybug super hero, eyes on a frog, an arrow on Aang’s head and some toes, headband, earrings … on an elephant. I think a lot of people would find needle felting patterns, ect, interesting.

Mind sayung your steps? How hard were you stabbing?

The kit I used had a polystyrene shape that I stabbed quite hard to get the wool to attach.

I’m not sure I used the right amount of wool

The needles were quite thin. It broke just before I finished my piece. Luckily I had a spare one.
