Kirby is owned by Nintendo. You should get their official permission first before making patterns based on their intellectual property. Whether the pattern is free or not, you must get permission first
I havenāt made these patterns but Iām not sure if true but Iāll check

Yes, Kirby is a Nintendo character, thus trademarked and copyrighted by Nintendo and owned by them
You have to get Nintendos formal permission to make or create patterns (or anything else) from their property. It doesnāt matter whether the pattern/item is offered for free or not. Nintendo has to give their permission first
