Baby Gift Ideas?

Looking for a super cute and quick baby gift idea? I also think these would do well at markets. They took me longer than I would assume they would normally take because I was juggling my daughter, but I made these for her (added a chain for a strap because she kept kicking them off) and they are so stinking cute!!

Simple pattern that I think would take most experienced crocheters less than 2 hours.

Pacifier clips and scratch mittens is what I’m making for my pregnant friend. They work up really quickly. I’m also making the couple and the baby matching granny hexagon cardigans because I’m obsessed with them. Texture blankets are cool too, each square is a different texture so the baby can explore the feelings during tummy time. Also, I heard that a little stuffed octopus is good for newborns because they can twirl the tentacles and it reminds them of the umbilical cord. I love a practical gift

Love that! That’s so fun! I may have to make the cardigans for my husband and I and our daughter! That’s a great idea! Maybe I can finish them by fall. hard to crochet with a newborn.

I bet it is! It’s hard enough to crochet with a cat lol. Congrats on the babe :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

 thanks! I have 3 cats, a 90lb pit Bull, and a new baby. so… these shoes took me 3 days/shoe. it was miserable. I just wanted to be done with them. But I’d crochet half a round and have to stop.
