hey yall!
my dad’s friend is having a baby girl in January and i was wondering if anybody had ideas of what i should make her?
i also asked my mom about maybe some thumbless baby mittens (the pattern i saw has a little bow tied to keep them on) but she said the baby would probably just take them off? idek what do yall think about that?
thanks for any ideas!!
Maybe a baby blanket??
i made a rabbit for someone having a baby and they absolutely adored it
i would do a white/cream color if i had enough of it do you think a really light yellow (i have a lot of it) would be good with maybe a white border?
yes, ofc!!
I used big twist posh to make a plushy for a baby shower gift and it worked great! I washed a little test ball that i made and it worked out fine. I made a strawberry turtle (without safety eyes) but that could vary depending on what colors you can get your hands on. The mom loved it by the way! And it went with the theme of the room which was ocean! I also made her a manatee (pattern in my shop) and I didn’t even know the theme!
one of those baby blankets eith the stuff animal head
You should make a rabbit snuggly!! Basically make a rabbit head then a rectangle then arms and sew them all together! Also domt use saftey eyes
Bows, baby beanies, socks, onsie
Lovey’s are popular with embroidered eyes
maybe s snuggler or a lovey?
maybe snugglers!! you could make a little bunny one!!
woops i didn’t see your reply mb
I made a rectangular granny square baby blanket with cotton yarn and a fluffy border for my not born yet cousin (if you make a blanket I do suggest using cotton because it’s washable if they puke on it or something)
an elephant would be cute and ill dm you smth else you could do. also baby toboggans/beanies are soo cutee and quick to make
U could make like a lovey/snuggler!
I would say a baby blanket.
Sounds cute!!! Also omg I love baby projects! I saw a super cute thing on Pinterest where it’s like a baby blanket but it’s like a star kinda. here it is!
Also maybe baby blankets? Baby’s are always cold so that could be good!
Or a stuffed animal (make sure u don’t use safety eyes because they are a choking hazard!)
