beginner tapestry crochet patterns

hey guysssss! i want to do tapestry crochet but im a complete beginner. i’ve looked for free patterns on ribblr but i want some more cute ones that take less yarn colors. any recommendations? doesn’t have to be on ribblr. preferably NOT ribblr cause i already checked. thanks guys!

oh yea i can help! you can just do any pixel art as a tapestry actually! each pixel on the grid is one stitch, here’s one i used not long ago that did pretty well (sorry for the low quality lol)

If you want the final tapestry to be even bigger, you can use 2 dc for each Pixel. It comes out the same as sc only bigger.

What kind of designs or things do you like? I could whip up a few graphs for you. And what size?

thanks! do u just put two dc in each stitch? i would love some graphs! i like flowers, cozy, and aesthetic pieces (bows, leaves, vines, etc) i would prefer small and less time consuming and less colors. thanks!

I think that they mean that you make 2 DC but not in the same stitch

so if you have a pattern and it are 12 pixels but you want it bigger you ch 25 instead of 13 and then you make 2 times your pixels like your first pixel are 2 dc but not in the same ch

Yes, @Evanlyn is correct. 2 regular dc in 2 separate stitches equals one Pixel. For me “dc” = one yo.
