So I’ve been wondering for a while, why do we use gems to unfreeze streaks when we eventually get a new gem?
For example if I lose my streak, I have the chance to keep the streak I had in exchange for a gem. I now have two options:
keep the gems I have and just lose the streak
use a gem, and later get a new one, which makes no difference in the gems I have (plus the pdf of the new streak record, which I personally don’t really need).
Maybe if there were more incentives I would use a gem (like if you keep a streak long enough you get a free Ribblr premium pattern or something), but right now I don’t think this gimmick is of much use
