For context; I’m making two granny square lap blankets, one for my biology teacher and the other for my geography teacher. I decided to do this because they’re so so supportive of me and I love them in general (favorite teachers and my biology teacher is a mother figure). So I figured I’d make them a lap blanket to show my appreciation for them.
As for this post, I’m wondering what boarders would you guys recommend for a granny square blanket? I’ve seen some people do a boarder and I feel like it makes it cuter and adds some finishing touches. I’m almost done with the first one (started yesterday) and would like to have a boarder chosen for it!

Wow…you actually like your teachers enough to make stuff for them? Lucky! I recommend picot stitch, different combos of bobbles and sc (make something up? 
) OR the shell stitch, that one is my fav

Lmao! I hated all my teachers last trimester 
my biology teacher is so amazing though! She’s been helping me with the classes and stuff I need for nuclear engineering and helping me qualify for scholarships! I just love my geography teacher because of how supportive she is. My district has some pretty great teachers :3

I usually do shell stitch borders but I have done a pom pom border, its cute and takes some time, but it makes the blanket look fun.

I like my biology teacher as a person he is so sweet and funny the problem is he does not know swedish (I’m from sweden) and everytime he tries to explain something cuz we don’t understand his first explanation he always shouts (idk if he knows that he raises his voice) and when you still say you don’t understand he just goes (roughly translated to english woth gramatical errors) WHY YOU NOT UNDERSTAND and then he just walks away
