hi guys! i am planning on hopefully starting a blanket soon. does anyone have a yarn brand recommendation? red heart super saver is cheap and easily available to me, but im not a fan of how fuzzy it gets while you work with it and i don’t really know any other brands lol

Lion Brand, or some other kind of softer yarn. Look for blends like cotton and acryllic or thicker yarns also.b

I would recommend Crafter’s Secret Big Idea Yarn from hobby lobby! it works really well for making a blanket since it comes in big skeins but it’s still a great price! 🩵

Like at Hobby Lobby, I love this yarn isn’t bad to work with and has a wide color range, also goes 30% off every other week.
Michael’s has loops and threads soft classic with a wide range of colors and not too expensive
And JoAnn’s has big twist value with a wide range of colors and is often on sale

caron 1lb is really good! i used abt six balls of it to make a really big blanket. in my experience it’s really soft n easy to work with

If you don’t want to worry too much about washing details later, Hobby Lobby also has I Love This Cotton and Yarn Bee Cotton, which are really good, fairly inexpensive, and go on sale every other week

big twist ermm gentil i think would be good its rly soft but the only thing abt ut is the fatm t that ut kinda splits like cotton yarn would
