When they don’t put any directions, or tell you how to finish the puff stitches 
Most patterns ask to ch1 to close it, but some count this as a stitch in the next round and some don’t, or some don’t have a closing stitch at all and it’s all very confusing

Yes, I asked one designer if she closed the stitch and counted it,
She didn’t know?’
