I like the hobbit and lord of the rings books. I started with The Silmarillion, because that actually has some good background information on the history before the hobbit and the lord of the rings.
Edit: I should add its not the Boring type of history. There are stories of hate, love, sacrifice, and wars. About gods and magical beings, how they made their own place, and how some people were destroyed.

one of us is lying trilogy is super good, they both die at the end is super good, dr harper books (a therapists problems i don’t know if it’s truly mystery but still kinda i guess), the murder game (maybe just murder game)

A very large expansive of sea, all my rage, odd one out (lgbtq), jane in bloom (this one’s kinda hard to find tbh), if he had been with me and (i think it’s called) if i had been with her (it’s the second to “if he had been with me) and if you’re into romance, definitely the summer i turned pretty trilogy, the books are act. really good (to me)
