gordan kormans older books are (in my personal opinion:) waaay better than his newer ones. Specifically

i want to go home 10/10

Rudy miller gets sent to camp and tries by any means possible to escape… usually thwarted by his well- meaning but often blundering counselor Chip. MILLER!! YOU GET BACK HERE! ( iykyk :sparkles::sob:)

no coins please 9/10

i don’t remember this one very well, but basically a boy goes on a road trip with a group of other boys and two counselors and makes these crazy investments (like selling attack jelly in NYC ;) and makes a ton of money.

the Macdonald hall series 11/10

two friends, Bruno and Boots, are at a boys school together where they get into all sorts of hilarious escapades. The first one is This can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall.

I haven’t read restart or faker, but his newer book series like the hypnotist, the masterminds, Everest etc. aren’t nearly as funny or interesting as these. Also these books dwell mainly on humor and don’t have a plot like, say, the masterminds. They do still have a plot obviously but mainly to make you laugh your head off.

Hmmm, I recommend The Wingfeather saga, and if you like sci-fi and mystery I recommend The Missing series by Margaret Peterson! I cant rate the two you’ve recommended cuz I’ve never read them :sweat_smile:

The way of kings :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star:

incredible series. But looots of world building, also they are rly thick. So far everything I’ve read by this author (Brandon Sanderson) has been stupendous. ( first in the stormlight archive )

The books of Bayern :star::star::star::star::star:

girl power, Magic and a little romance:sparkles:

Narnia

Pretty classic children’s fantasy, but I still looove them at 15;) I’m sure u have heard of them.

the lord of the rings:star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star:

y’all know this series. just read it for Pete’s sake.

Hi. I’m in love with the Percy Jackson series.

Percy Jackson 1. 8/10

Percy Jackson 4. 10/10

Percy Jackson 5. 1000000000000000/19

:heart::growing_heart::heart::revolving_hearts::heart::revolving_hearts::ribbon::revolving_hearts::sparkles::ribbon::sparkles::sparkles::heart:

Also it’s about The Lightning Thief follows 12-year-old Percy, who discovers he is a demigod son of Poseidon. Framed for stealing Zeus’s master bolt, Percy embarks on a quest across America with friends Annabeth and Grover to prevent a war between the gods, eventually identifying the true thief. That’s the first one and the rest basically just adds to it like when he’s older

Some of my favorite books that I’ve read (and reread lol) this year are…

  1. The Hunger Games series 9/10
  2. Bridge to Terabithia 9/10
  3. This Tender Land 8/10
  4. Pictures of Hollis Woods 9/10
  5. The Tanglewoods’ Secret 7/10
    Also, Heartless by Marissa Meyers is an amazing book!
    These books are all clean (This Tender Land has a bit of cussing tho, maybe five words from what I remember) with no spice!

The Hunger Games - 11/10 (got me into reading and I’m so thankful for this book)

The Inheritance Games - 10/10

The Naturals - 10/10

These Violent Delights - 10/10 (some language and descriptive death)

A Good Girls Guide to Murder - 10/10 (more mature than the other books with quite a bit of language and various sensitive themes)

I Must Betray You - 10/10

Looking at these, the ratings kinda seem useless since these are some of my favorite books but idc
