📣Calling all hypermobile crafters! 📣

Do you find yourself needing to connect with other hypermobile crafters to commiserate about the pains, pun intended, we experience as a result of our hypermobile joints? :woman_kneeling:

Would you benefit from a space to be able to learn tips and tools from other :zebra: Zebras? (Zebras = folks with hypermobile spectrum disorder [HSD] and hypermobile ehlers Danlos syndrome [hEDS])?

Are you wanting to be in community with others who get it?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I encourage you to vote in this poll, and let Ribblr know our need for this space. :down_arrow:

Self diagnosis valid too!

I’m pretty sure we have a hypermobile personal space already though, I’m a zebra so I remember checking for it a while back, check the personal spaces section and you’ll probably find it unless it got closed

Do we? I looked but will look again. Thanks!

I didn’t find one. So must have gotten closed!

Be sure to vote in the OG poll! So we can get this space started!

Excited to see all us hypermobile crafters. Sometimes my shoulders fall out when I am not properly supported or my hips if I sit cross legged for too long while crocheting.

Ooof that sounds ouchy! My shoulders sublux at night sometimes and my hips sublux sometimes when I’m sitting for too long (usually on a road trip)

I have learned to be very careful. I have a student that taught me easier ways to move things back in place. My daughter walks over and can raise my arm and pop it goes right back ( only if it isn’t completely dislocated. Just subluxed) .

That makes sense, esp with how easily things fall out of place! Glad you’ve found something that helps with your shoulders!

I think I’ve stumbled upon maneuvers to put things back into place before I even knew I was subluxing thing.

Shoulder ones I’ve stumbled upon accidentally and I don’t actually know if I can re-create them. I’ll have to look it up next time.
