@Ribblr I just scheduled a pattern for release after being tested. It will be released Monday. The pattern was a custom pattern that someone else requested, so I wanted to gift it to them ahead of time.
I tapped āgift a patternā and put the personās username in. Ribblr said it was sent. But the person never recieved it. What did I do wrong? Can you not gift a pattern before its official release?
You can gift unreleased patterns so it should have worked. Maybe re-send it and make sure you spelt their username correctly and with an @ symbol in front of their username?
I did already Iām not sure what I did wrong. I guess Iāll try again.
iām pretty sure you donāt put the @ symbolā¦? i might be wrong.
Idk Iām pretty sure you do???
hm⦠idk.
I actually tried it both ways, lol
If the person changed their username recently that could be messing it up
sometimes people have letters in there name that look alike, for example, l can look like capital I (i) or sometimes people use numbers, maybe check that!
Like dania said as well as spelling and did you put the @ infront?
Yeah, I did both, and they havenāt changed their screen name recently. I am just at a loss here.
I put the @ symbol! (Trust me, it works, Iāve probably done it ā¦ā¦ 20 times for unreleased patterns , you just need to make sure the user is spelled correctly!)
You can gift a pattern which isnāt published yet. The user should see the gifted pattern in their pattern library. Please reach out to us privately if you need additional help.
oh lol ok :)
