Have you ever searched for a specific design on Ribblr and come up with nothing? You know, that moment when you think, ‘I wish there was a pattern exactly like this’?
I’ve decided to take on that challenge! I want to contribute to our community by creating a unique, from-scratch design while pushing my own creative boundaries.
I am currently in the design phase, and I’m so excited to share this journey with you. What are the most important details you look for in an ideal pattern? I’d love to hear your thoughts or any ‘must-have’ features you’d like to see!
It sounds like a fun project to take on! I’m definitely considering it, but I’ll need to do some research first to make sure there are no copyright issues.
Haha, exactly! It’s such a rewarding process. It’s the ultimate creative freedom, isn’t it? I’m really enjoying this design phase and hope we can swap tips along the way!
i would love to see a completely no sew bear, dragon, cow, or bunny! the limbs for bear, cow, and bunny would be crocheted on, and we could perhaps utilize bobble stitches for the dragon!
I’ve always stuck to sewing pieces together since it’s easier to manage than writing ‘no-sew’ instructions! But a bear sounds like a fun challenge, it can be my first time designing one.
I’ve never seen a standing axolotl before, so that could be a fun challenge to try! Thank you for the suggestion. All of my patterns are free for the time being, though I might start offering paid patterns later on once I move into more complex designs.
