Cat lovers pls help 😭

Thank you! Cisco also has some dark toe beans. Not all of them, but they’re all spotted! Someone had an ā€œoopsieā€ litter and my husband saw him on facebook because I have ALWAYS wanted a white(ish) cat with blue eyes. So he got him for us as our first anniversary present!

Blue wasn’t intentional either. It just happened on day the mom was pregnant and the next, there were kittens. Wasn’t planning on keeping any but I had to keep him when I saw him.

They got dad and had an apt to get mom fixed and they missed it by a literal day. She got pregnant like the day or days before her appointment

He is so cute!! Pls make a pattern! I’d say he’s probably a Siamese because of the darker muzzle.

How old is this baby?

ā€œKittens’ eyes typically change from blue to their permanent adult color within the first few months of life. Most kittens are born with blue eyes, and their eye color starts to shift around 6-8 weeks of age, reaching their final color by 12 weeks or even up to a year in some casesā€

Our litter from one of our fosters all had blue eyes and all 5 kittens’ eyes changed from blue to brown/amber/green by the time they were 12 weeks old. I was sad lol

I had initially thought they would turn, (mom has yellow/green eyes) but I was surprised they were this blue after he was around 8 weeks. I kept watching him and he’s now 15 weeks, 16 Tomorrow! I love the blue color kittens have when they’re first born. All his siblings that aren’t patterned like him have greenish eye. Then two kittens from a separate litter about 5 days later than him also have light blue eyes and the white coat. None of the siblings have the blue color, so I assume it might stay or maybe it will lighten or darken as he grows. :heart_hands:

Oooh, nice! It sounds like you’d know by now if they were going to change…yay!

I had a blue-eyed boy once, and I was sooo hoping my new kitties would have blue eyes too but no. (We kept 4 out of 5 of the foster litter :open_mouth::woman_facepalming:t3:)
