These cats are medium to large with a fluffy coat and a teddy bear personality. Their fur can be over 30 colors, but smoky blue is the most common. They have gold or blue eyes, who love people once they warm up to them. They were once carried on ships like the Mayflower because of their wonderful rat catching abilities. They are sometimes considered one of the first fancy breed of cat in the craze over breeding pretty cats.
