Chat trouble

I have a friend who has ribblr but when I click on her name, the chat option doesn’t come up like it does when I click on others’ names. Does anybody know how to chat to her, or if I can only chat to her if she’s tested me or I’ve tested her?

She doesn’t know how to turn the chat setting on, and i don’t remember either, does any one know?

Yes! So, first click on your pfp in the corner.
Then click the person at the bottom
Then click preferences

Then click the chat button on the top (you have to scroll to get to it)

Then click enable chat

Scroll a little farther on that top bar

You have to click on your profile picture at the top, press the icon under the little line at the right of your screen, then go onto preferences, then click on the chat bit at the top, then click the box next to enable chat.
