I’ve been making quite a few tiny things, and I want to sell them. Shipping costs to put them in small boxes are way more than I’d charge for the actual item. We are talking 1 to 2 inch makes - see the examples below.
I can sell them at markets, but I thought I’d check to see if there are any crocheters in the Ribblr Community have any suggestions on the best way to package and send tiny makes so I can offer them at a reasonable price. Is there a better way than using a box?

Hm…maybe paper bags? You can re-use the ones you have at home!(I would recommend plastic ones, but we want to be ecologic)

Polybags are prob the cheapest way to ship if it doesnt need cushioning. You can get them in multiple sizes. You will just have to search your local retailers for where to find them and how much they are…

Just put the item in the bag and roll the bag up, tape it up with shipping tape and send it? Does that actually work?

Well, plushies are mini coushions already …
Would a polybag be too floppy with such a little thing in it? Maybe I’ve only seen big ones.

But then there is the shipping label … I already have 4x4x4 boxes, so I’m looking for a cheaper option.

Walmart sells some as small as 6.5x10 inches. You can also look online at places like Amazon and other shopping apps. The great thing about polybags are that they are flexible and can really fit any size you need by folding over any excess before sealing… however I would suggest taping whatever gets folded over just to be on the safe side.
