I love thissss
It’s really difficult to pick a favorite book because they’re all so awesome but I love proverbs. It’s like a manual on how to live your life and is so helpful to me. I don’t remember the name of the woman but she’s the one who drives a peg into an enemy soldier’s head in a tent or something.

I think I would have to say that Rahab maybe my favorite character. That is because even though she was a harlot, she was chosen to be in the line of Christ. (She was a great-great-great-I forget how many-grandmother to King David).

The book of John is great. I have been talking to my teen daughter about John. It fun to see the almost “salty” side of him and the jealous sides of the disciples. He emphasizes “who Jesus loved” and don’t forget who won that race to the tomb that the other gospels didn’t mention. The book of John mentions Peter by name about cutting off the soldiers ear but the others don’t mention his name…. They were like you know…Like it happened, but he already denied Jesus, and Jesus forgave him, do we need to record him by name here too? everyone else:nahhhh…..Crickets….John ….Yup.
I know it’s not exactly like that and I definitely have reverence for the Word. It just amuses me to see the humaness of the disciples. It is a great reminder of their humaness. They walked, ate, slept alongside, ministered with, learned from, and talked face to face with Jesus and they are just as human as us flaws and all.

I have 2 favorite books and people Amos and Jeremiah. These two prophets had it hard but they were strong and kept doing God’s work despite the many many difficulties they faced. It was an the strength and boldness, their steadfast faith, commitment, and relentless need to continue God’s work that made me love these two prophets and books of the Bible.

I think about how we can’t even look upon God’s face because he is so bright. Moses came down from the mountain glowing from being in his presence and before that he had to hide in a crevice to not see God’s face.
Just postulating what if the bright light Saul saw was God??? I have no proof mind you.

I LOVE LEVITICUS, Leviticus 4:27-28
27 “If anyone of the common people sins unintentionally in doing any one of the things that by the Lord’s commandments ought not to be done, and realizes his guilt, **28 **or the sin which he has committed is made known to him, he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has committed.
