We don’t get to choose subjects only if we want Germany or Spanish

In England we start school when we are 4I’m going into yr 8 and we dong get to choose any subjects

Do you only lern English then? (It seems little to me because in Sweden we lern Swedish English and one more (if you are bad at English you can have extra English)
