Claws & Crochet – March Monthly Challenge🐺📚

March is here, and Ribbot is howling with excitement! :wolf::books:
This month’s challenge is a very special one. We’re teaming up with author Lauren Connolly, creator of the cozy fantasy romance Claws & Crochet.

The story follows a crocheter who travels to clear out her late grandma’s house, only to discover a secret gang of werewolves and maybe even fall in love with one. (Plus some :hot_pepper:…)
So for March, your makes can be inspired by wolves or books, or both!

Here’s how to join in:
:glowing_star:Make something inspired by wolves, werewolves, or books. It could be an amigurumi, a wearable, a bookmark, book sleeve, home décor, or any bookish or wolf themed creation
:glowing_star:Post a journal on the March Challenge Pattern linked here
:glowing_star:Share your journal in the comments below

Entries close April 5th

On April 6th, Ribbot will pick 5 favorite creations, and each winner will receive a signed copy of Claws & Crochet by Lauren Connolly PLUS a gem each! :gem_stone::sparkles::open_book:

Plus…
:microphone: Lauren Connolly will be joining the Ribblr Show this Friday for a special interview you won’t want to miss!

We can’t wait to see your fierce, cozy, and book loving makes. Let’s stitch up some magic, Ribblr style!

Here’s some cute inspo for your submission:

Hi @Ribblr

I’d like to participate, but I live in France and I speak French. Does that matter?

when I click the link for the “pattern” it just takes me to the Ribblr home page. Is that correct or is it supposed to give me a “pattern” ?

@Ribblr does it need to be crochet or knit? I’ve picked up some cross stich on plastic canvas and I’d love to use that if this challenge!!. I use worsted weight yarn so I hope it would still count?

The heroine in the book does go to a general craft club where they also do needlework, so it will probably work for this challenge @RueBriiFiber

It’s been on my list to make a wolf since it’s my favorite animal and literally in my logo. Guess this is my sign!
